Ida Wilhemina, the second-generation owner of the Wolf business, would travel great distances throughout Sweden and Scandinavia by rail and horse-drawn carriage to sell whatever products the factory could make in a large wooden banded trunk. Ida's sheer will and determination kept the Wolf business alive through one of the most difficult times in history. To commemorate her invaluable contribution to the business, Wolf designed these beautiful Ida jewelry boxes and travel cases. The wonderful Ida trunk-style jewelry box features a canvas exterior with leather trim and drawer pulls. Featuring brass stud detailing, a custom-designed lock, as well as an exclusive 190th-anniversary logo plate, and protective corners this piece is inspired by Ida's travel trunk. Inside find a Lusterloc treated ultrasuede lining across multiple jewellery storage compartments. The top layer features ring slots and five open areas as well as a covered tray coupled with a large mirror in the lid, which pulls forward to reveal a hidden compartment. Three further drawers with compartments accommodate favorite jewelry pieces and a small travel case, perfect for every eventuality.
