Grown in Ceylon and known as a stimulant, it brings a warm spicy tone as the heart note in Dioressence. Essence of Indonesian Patchouli: Patchouli is a plant originally from Indonesia and Malaysia. A key element of the perfumer & apos;s palette, its essence is obtained by steam distilling the dried leaves.
