The central ingredient of this powdery perfume is the exclusive iris root, or orris butter -one of perfumery's most precious ingredients, due to the long and highly artisanal extraction process, which requires up to five years to produce from harvest to final product. Its rhizomes develop a uniquely comforting olfactory note, characterized by a rich, buttery softness. This Iris Root perfume, is harmonized by the subtle angelica seed, whose spicy notes pair beautifully with the softness of iris root. This is contrasted by Timut pepper, a prized ingredient with a grapefruit-like aroma, with hints of passion fruit or lemongrass for an unexpected electric twist. The powdery and nuanced composition is rounded out by neroli, clary sage, cashmeran, tonka bean, cedarwood heart, and musk notes.
